With a killer physique, impeccable comedic timing, and, now, his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chris Pratt is, without a doubt, absolutely crushing it as one of Hollywood's most popular actors.
So it makes sense that when Jimmy Kimmel's sidekick, Guillermo Rodriguez, was offered a small role in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, he turned to Pratt, aka Peter Quill, aka "Star-Lord," for a few acting tips.
And, as it turns out, the craft of becoming a major film star only comes down to mastering three things.
Before filming his cameo as Cop #2 with Guardians director James Gunn, Rodriguez stopped by the set at Pinewood Studios, where he met up with Pratt and bluntly asked him, "How do you act?"
His response? "There's three looks," explained Pratt. "The first one: happy; the next one: sad; and then the third one: scared. That's all you need." When Rodriguez asked what "look" he should use for sexy, Pratt suggested, "Just use scared."
After trying out each of the expressions—pretty successfully, we might add—Rodriguez ran into Kurt Russell, who plays Quill's father, Ego. The veteran actor had just one, equally simple piece of advice for the late night personality—"Just remember this one thing: Whatever you do, don't f**k up."
